Returns/ Refund Policy

Terms and Conditions:

  • All items discounted or on sale are a final sale and cannot be returned, no exchanges or refunds. Items purchased using a coupon code are eligible for returns or exchanges, however the value of the item will stay the discounted amount
  • Only online orders that have been completed and paid for in full will be processed for delivery/collection.
  • Xessories will not accept responsibility for orders placed incorrectly on the website and will not be held liable for delivering the original intended item unless subject to an additional delivery charge.
  • Prices for our products are subject to change without notice.We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue products without notice at any time. We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of any products.
  • We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours and images of our products that appear at the store. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor’s display of any colour will be accurate.
  • If you send certain submissions, for example, creative ideas, suggestions, proposals, plans, or other materials, whether online, by email, by postal mail, or otherwise (collectively, ‘comments’), you agree that we may, at any time, without restriction, edit, copy, publish, distribute, translate and otherwise use in any medium any comments that you forward to us. We are and shall be under no obligation (1) to maintain any comments in confidence; (2) to pay compensation for any comments; or (3) to respond to any comments. We may, but have no obligation to, monitor, edit or remove content that we determine as are unlawful, offensive, threatening, libellous, defamatory, pornographic, obscene or otherwise objectionable.
  • All products and colour varieties are subject to availability. We will make our best effort to inform you as soon as possible if the products you have ordered are not available, or if shipment might be delayed. We can offer you another colour option where available or offer a refund.
  • Free delivery is only available to Cape Town area. Delivery is free for orders over R 500 (Five Hundred Rand) and less than 5 KG. Please choose the free delivery option at Checkout.
  • Goods must be signed for upon delivery by yourself or your nominated person that is over the age of 18. Deliveries will take place during office hours (9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday) and are limited to 1 delivery address per order.
  • Free shipping is only offered one way to the customer. Should you want to return your items for a refund, this will be done at the customers cost.
  • A delivery fee of R60 will apply to orders in Cape Town and surrounding areas, that do not meet the free delivery criteria.
  • For all other areas other than Cape Town and surrounds, we offer Postnet2Postnet counter collection at R99 countrywide.
  • Xessories operates in terms of the requirements of the Consumer protection Act and ECT Act. Our terms and conditions policy is aligned with it.

Returns

Should you wish to return any item received from an online purchase, it is your responsibility to return it within the “cooling off period” of 7 days from delivery to you, with the original invoice and all original packaging and accessories. Xessories will not be liable to collect the goods from you that have been delivered to you for any reason whatsoever. We will not be held responsible for any costs that may be incurred by you as a result of returning the product, such as travel costs etc. We are entitled to refuse a return if the unwanted product is returned damaged, not in a re-saleable condition or missing any accessories. Missing boxes, insert trays, scratches, dents, liquid damage, third-party repairs or any modification will void any refund claim.

You may return items provided:

  • original proof of purchase;
  • it is undamaged and unused
  • it is in the original packaging, which must be undamaged and in its original condition with all seals still intact (if applicable); 
  • it is not missing any accessories or parts; and 
  • You have notified us of the return and logged on the website below within the 7 days “cooling off period” of delivery to you.

Exchanges

If an exchange has been approved, Xessories will endeavour to replace a product with the same colour as originally purchased; if this colour is not available it will be exchanged with available colour. If a device or variation has been discontinued, it will be exchanged for an equivalent product to the value of no more than the original purchase price.

Refunds

Refunds are deposited directly into your credit card or bank account. This process may take up to 10 days. Refunds processing time frame will only commence from when the goods are received and a technician has evaluated and assessed the item to be in its original condition. Delivery costs will not be refunded.

Defective products

Goods that are defective when purchased or fail due to a manufacture fault, will be collected and assessed by a technician. The product will then be replaced or refunded. This may take between 7 – 14 working days (not including courier time).

All items carry a supplier warranty up to six months provided the item has not been physically damaged, broken or misused or blown. If the device has been found defective within 6 months, you will be entitled to have the unit repaired free of charge, replaced or to be refunded. The warranty does not cover rust or the effects of rust. The warranty also does not cover any defects caused by foreign objects /connection errors that are not part of the appliance, including but not limited to

  • Failure by the customer or any other person to comply with the manufacturers’ instructions for installation, maintenance or use;
  • The use of accessories which have not been approved by the manufacturer;
  • The application and/or use of any incorrect or abnormal electrical or water supply to the product;
  • Any defect in wiring or electrical connections which does not form part of the product at the time of the original purchase.

If the product is found not be defective (or if fault is caused by means other than the terms of warranty set out by the manufacturer), you will NOT be entitled to any refund, or free replacement or repair, and you will be liable for the costs incurred for having such a product collected from and returned back to you.

Not what you ordered?

If we accidentally deliver the wrong product to you or if the product is not as described on the Website (or if it is missing any accessories), please notify us immediately and we will collect the product from you at no charge. Once we have inspected the product and validated your return, we will, at your choice, deliver the correct product to you as soon as possible (if the correct product is available); or refund you with the purchase price of the product.

Failed Delivery or Expired Collection

If we are unable to deliver your order, or you don’t collect within 7 days, we will cancel the order and return it to the warehouse. Once the items have been received back at the warehouse we’ll issue you with a refund.
